“About the advert – It doesn’t get the message across. I associate releasing nice red balloons with celebrations. I hadn’t seen the “when you stop, engine stops” until reading it in this survey.  My immediate thought was confusion.  Then I thought my engine doesn’t stop when my car stops  what do they mean?  AND then I realised you are asking me to stop my engine when my car stops…so I’m on board with all that but didn’t get the message.”

“I think people who engine idle outside schools and shops should be fined in time. The dangers are clear and have been for a while, if people don’t pay attention to the health of others there should be a penalty.”

“Feels like turning the engine off while waiting at traffic lights is not practical. It would take too much time to turn engine back on, put car into gear, then drive car forwards. Some lights do not give you much time to move off. Could be more practical with modern vehicles?”
