Direct quotes from respondents

“Some services are frequently cancelled short of their final destination e.g. Southern service to Victoria is often terminated at Fratton when running late (which is frequently). This particularly impacts people travelling to/from Gosport and IOW who have complicated onward journeys from Portsmouth harbour. Need more services starting at the Harbour Station – including stopping services to South Downs stations.”

“Trains are randomly cancelled, and staff are incompetent.”

“Poor rail network all round. Last minute cancellations. Getting back to Hilsea from Fratton the train was often cancelled, and it was faster to go via taxi.”
