• 41% of short breaks service users in the sample have a short breaks pre-paid card. In 2021 it was 53%
• No short breaks service users without an EHCP have a pre-paid card (62% of current users with an EHCP have a pre-paid card)
• The main benefit of the short breaks pre-paid card is to help financially with trips and purchases (85%). It also helps families spend quality time together (62%), encourages socialising (46%), and enables better access to activities (44%)
