“My child is on the autistic spectrum, so she struggles to interact with children she does not know. A lot of other SEN children have opposite difficulties to hers, and she gets anxious in SEN sessions as although the groups are smaller, there are often children with difficulties with their understanding, can be loud, not give personal space etc. so she actually finds other disabled children difficult to be around. … It would be nice for there to be places that can be hired just for individual children like sensory rooms, swimming, gymnastics, so children can fully be themselves, even if the sessions are only 15 minutes long.”
