Summary
  • The same proportion of children and young people in the 2021 sample have a key worker or lead professional as those in the 2020 survey – just over two fifths (41%).
  • Just under half of those who have an EHCP have a lead professional or key worker (48%), compared to 27% of those without an EHCP.
  • Children and young people with vision or hearing disabilities and physical disabilities are more likely to have a key worker compared to those with other needs (59% and 51% respectively).
