“Overall it is a success, let down by a few who ignore it completely and argue if you speak to them. People still stop on yellow lines, cycle down Peacock Lane the wrong way and block driveways. Thankfully the majority adhere to it.”

“Just that Poynings Place seems to have become to mothers’ meeting point as they turn up so early (up to 1.5 hours early) to get a space. It’s the same offenders. They gather is a group and are noisy. Their toddlers run riot. And they smoke and leave their rubbish in the square – it’s very unpleasant for residents and frustrating when our visitors can’t find a space.”
