Disadvantages of the School Street

• Just less than a quarter of respondents have witnessed a non-authorised vehicle driving into the SS zone without a permit
• A fifth believe that the School Street has increased traffic in surrounding roads and 13% think it has moved illegal parking into surrounding roads
• 41% have not experienced any disadvantages since the School Street has been in place
• Of those selecting ‘Other’, the most frequent observation is that many vehicles are driving the wrong way up Talbot Road and that the one-way markings needs to be clearer including painted lines on the road itself
