- Over three-quarters of respondents ‘strongly agree’ that their school’s street is ‘less congested with car traffic’ since the removal of cars (79%) and nearly two-thirds of respondents agree in some capacity that they are ‘not as worried about the air quality’ (‘strongly agree’ – 44%, ‘agree’ – 20%)
- ‘The surrounding streets are less congested with car traffic’ sees the highest level of disagreement from respondents, with over a third disagreeing to some extent (‘disagree’ – 15%, ‘ strongly disagree’ – 20%)
- The majority of the St Jude’s cohort agree that their school street is ‘less congested’ since cars were removed (‘strongly agree’ – 77%, ‘agree’ – 10%), however levels of agreement drop for congestion on ‘surrounding streets’ (‘strongly agree’ – 44%, ‘agree’ – 12%)
- The entirety of the Bramble cohort agree that their school street is ‘less congested’ since cars were removed (‘strongly agree’ – 92%, ‘agree’ – 8%) but less than a third agree that the ‘surrounding streets are less congested (‘strongly agree’ – 8%, ‘agree’ – 23%)
- There is a high level of overall agreement from both schools for ‘I am not as worried about the air quality at drop-off/pick-up times’ (St Jude’s – 60%, Bramble – 85%)
