BSIP Short-term improvements: summary

To what extent would the following short-term options (i.e. things that can be delivered in a shorter timescale) about bus information make you personally use bus services in Portsmouth more?

Summary:

  • Cheaper fares was the most popular short-term improvement that respondents would like to see
  • Ticketing available to use on both First and Stagecoach buses was second, followed by more comprehensive services, RTI at every bus stop and more reliable services
  • Safety is not a big priority – improved bus waiting areas, better safety at bus stops, and improved safety to / from the stop all feature low down for people
