This chart shows that the majority of respondents expect their bus use to remain about the same as before the pandemic (60%), a fifth of respondents expect to use the bus for more journeys and a fifth expect to use the bus for fewer journeys. It is worth noting that fewer respondents answered this question; some do not know if or how their use of local bus services might change over the next six months.

In terms of sex, the chart shows that males, who are less frequent users of the bus are more likely to expect their bus use to remain the same as before the pandemic; 68% compared to 56% of females.
It also shows that females’ expectations are split between 22% who expect to use the bus more and 22% who expect to use the bus for fewer journeys than before the pandemic.
