Summary:
- Nearly two thirds of respondents report that ‘everyone was required to attend the workplace’ before the pandemic (62%)
- ‘Other’ answers included permanent home working, remote working, working in multiple locations (home to yard), and that restrictions on working arrangements varied between job roles
- In regard to current working arrangements, two thirds report ‘attending their workplace as usual’, whilst around 1 in 5 have ‘different work arrangements’ in place (21%)
- A larger proportion of respondents report that staff are currently ‘attending the workplace as usual’ (66%) compared to the pre-pandemic levels (62%)
- Over three-quarters of respondents expect to return to their previous working arrangements (76%)
- 1 in 10 expect fewer people to attend the workplace (than before the pandemic) and a slightly larger proportion do not expect employees to return to the office at all (14%)
