- Driving is the most common way that respondents plan to travel to and from work or for journeys as part of the working day in Portsmouth. Nearly half of the sample plan to do so at least weekly (44%) and a quarter plan to do so frequently (at least four days a week).
- 43% of the sample plan to cycle to work at least once a week and 40% of respondents plan to walk to work at least once a week.
- Public transport is not a popular method that respondents expect to use when travelling to work; two thirds of the sample expect they will ‘never’ travel in that way (66%).
