Air pollution concerns

• A similar level of respondents are at least ‘somewhat concerned’ about air pollution (84% both waves) however in Wave 2 fewer respondents view air pollution as ‘a big concern’ (53% compared to 55%)
• The top reasons why respondents are concerned about air pollution is the impact it has on the environment (82%), the impact it is having on the health of children (78%) and the impact it is having on the health of people with pre-existing conditions (73%)

In Wave 2, 53% of respondents think air pollution is a big concern in Portsmouth, compared to 55% of respondents in Wave 1
In Wave 2, 31% of respondents think air pollution is somewhat a concern in Portsmouth, compared to 29% of respondents in Wave 1
In Wave 2, 12% of respondents think air pollution is not too much of a concern in Portsmouth, compared to 11% of respondents in Wave 1
In both Wave 2 and Wave 1, 5% of respondents think air pollution is not a concern at all in Portsmouth
