• Disagreement with policy G (to ensure sufficient EV infrastructure is available for the taxi trade in the conversion to electric vehicles) is highest amongst those aged 25-34 and 55-74, males, those whose main vehicle is not an EV, and those with a disability
• The main reason respondents disagree with policy G is because they are generally not in support of EV (27%), for example feeling it is not the most eco-friendly approach or that it’s unaffordable
• 14% disagree due to the cost to the council/ public, whilst 11% feel that the taxi trade should have private charging points
• 8% each feel that EVs are not suitable for the taxi trade, and that this attention should be given to public transport instead
