Disagreement with policy E

To support business in the city in providing and accessing chargepoint provision including enabling public access to private EV charging infrastructure.

• Respondents aged 55-74, males, those whose main vehicle is not an EV, do not have regular use of a motor vehicle, residents in PO3 and PO6, and those with a disability express higher levels of disagreement with policy E (to support business in the city in providing and accessing chargepoint provision including enabling public access to private EV charging infrastructure)
• Just under a quarter of respondents disagree with policy E as they are generally not in support of EVs (24%), whist just over a fifth are concerned about the cost to the council/ public (21%)
• 15% each feel that EVs are not the environmental future or feel that residents will not benefit from this policy
