• The main ways employees travel to and from work is by private car or van, followed by bus (to Southampton Road), by taxi, on foot, by bicycle and motorcycle
• There is a strong feeling amongst businesses at Port Solent that current bus services are affecting employees getting to and from work
• A lack of bus services is the most common issue, followed by the distance of bus stops, the first and last bus times and the cost of bus services
• Businesses feel it is difficult for employees to get to and from work if they do not have their own transport
