Likelihood of joining

• There is a notable difference between how likely people would be to join a car club currently and in the future; respondents who would consider joining a car club ‘currently’ are far more likely to join one (36% are ‘very likely’ to join compared to 4% of those who would consider joining in the future)
• There are few differences in the likelihood of males and females to join a car club at present
• Females are more likely than males to be ‘very likely’ or ‘quite likely’ to join a car club in the future
• Respondents aged 35-44 years and those aged 45-54 years are most likely to join at present (41% and 43% respectively would be ‘very likely’ to join) while those aged 65+ years are least sure about joining at present
• Appetite to join a car club is strongest in Nelson with 46% of residents saying they would be ‘very likely’ to join a car club at present, followed by St Thomas (45%), St Jude (41%), Central Southsea (38%), Milton (38%), and Eastney and Craneswater (38%)
