Interest in car clubs

• Half of existing car club members would consider joining a new car club in addition to the club they belong to, 19% would consider joining as a replacement to the car club they belong to and 31% feel they need more information before making a decision
• Appetite for a car club is strong, the majority (59%) of respondents not already belonging to a car club would consider joining one in their area of the city – a further 24% would consider joining in the future and 17% would not consider joining
• A similar proportion of males (60%) and females (62%) would consider joining a car club
• Younger respondents are more likely to consider joining a car club in their area of the city; 77% of 18-34 year-olds would consider joining compared to 43% of those aged 65+
• Respondents living in St Jude have the biggest appetite for a car club, almost three-quarters (74%) of them would consider joining one, this is followed by Central Southsea (70%), Eastney & Craneswater (68%), and St Thomas (66%)
