Bus stop ratings: feeling safe and lighting

• Consistent with the data for feeling safe onboard buses, younger people are more likely to rate safety at bus stops as poor or very poor compared with other age groups (20% vs 9-11%). This pattern also plays out in the data on lighting at bus stops with 32% of younger people rating it as poor or very poor (vs 11-17% for other age groups)
• There are no big differences between males and females on these criteria; those with a disability feel slightly less safe and rate the lighting at bus stops slightly less well, but the differences are quite minor
