- Around a quarter (24%) of those who rated the condition of the HMO as ‘good’ or ‘very good’ feel the property was/is well-maintained, with a fifth (20%) feeling it’s fine/ there are no major problems
- Over a third (34%) of those who rated the condition of the HMO as ‘fair’ feel it is/was a bit rundown/ the décor could be improved, with over a quarter (28%) feeling it’s OK and meets the minimum standards
- Just under a third of those who rated the condition of the HMO as ‘poor’ or ‘very poor’ feel the quality of housing is poor (31%) such as due to plumbing issues or needing repairs, and that there is poor service from the agency/ landlord looking after the HMO (31%)
